This striking vintage art glass vase is a collectible piece designed by renowned Czech glass artist Josef Hospodka for the famed Chribska Glassworks (Chřibská Sklo), circa 1950s–1960s. Hand-blown using the Sommerso technique, the vase features beautifully layered colours — deep ruby pink flowing into a vivid emerald green, all encased in clear crystal glass.

The organic, fluid form with its ruffled rim and pulled lobes showcases Hospodka’s signature sculptural style, blending function with abstract artistry. Viewed from above, the vase takes on a floral silhouette, making it an eye-catching centrepiece even without flowers.

Josef Hospodka was the head designer at Chribska Glassworks and one of the leading figures in post-war Czech glass design. His work is celebrated for its bold forms and innovative use of colour.

A classic example of mid-century Bohemian glass artistry, this piece is both decorative and highly collectible.
