A distinguished pair of antique solid brass door knobs, salvaged from a grand English residence and dating to the late Victorian era (circa 1880–1900). Featuring a pleasingly rounded bulb shape and wide circular backplates, these door knobs exhibit the hallmarks of fine 19th-century craftsmanship and are over 100 years old.
Rich with character, the surface retains a natural, timeworn patina and areas of verdigris, which speak to their long history and authentic material. Their weight and feel in hand make them ideal for both restoration projects and as statement pieces in more contemporary settings.
Dimensions: Approx. 8.5 cm length | 6.5 cm base
Material: Believed to be solid brass
Condition: Excellent antique condition with light surface marks, natural ageing, and minor verdigris around screw holes. Spindle and screws not included.
Origin: England, c. 1880–1900
Provenance: Removed from a grand period home in England during renovation
These are timeless architectural pieces with the potential to elevate any door they grace — whether you're restoring a period property or adding vintage flair to a modern interior.
